Hidden cameras filmed workers punching pigs in the face, booting them during loading, and dragging those too lame to walk. Our investigators documented pigs with ruptures so severe their intestines spilled out, left bleeding on the floor while others bit at their wounds. Some screamed in agony for days before finally dying.
Even during a Red Tractor audit, these horrors went unnoticed – or ignored. Just two weeks later, we filmed again, finding the same filthy, overcrowded pens, pigs struggling to breathe, and dead animals left among the living.
This is not an isolated case, it’s systemic abuse – and it’s happening under Red Tractor’s approval and with supermarket contracts. Enough is enough. It’s time to take action.
